ABOUT ME

I'm Alícia Antón, a fifteen-year-old high school student of Escola Tecnos which is in Terrassa. Although my interests are related to science and all this extended branch, I thought it will be interesting to study the subject of Digital Humanities. First of all, I have to say that didn't had any idea of what this subject was, and in fact we could say that I chose it by discard because physics and I don't have a very good relationship so this was my other option. I was enormously surprised because I never thought I would like and interest as I do. 

You will probably ask, why she has made a blog? Well the answer is that our teacher proposed us a project where we had to think about a topic and do an investigation about it. As you can see, my topic is school system. I'm not very interested on this topic but I thought it will be fine to learn a little bit about it and as a student that I am, I live every day this topic. Mostly of the people do not give the enough importance to education and in fact, I think it's the base of all and, a person without education, in the future it doesn't get anywhere (I don't mind school education). 

So my objectives are very clear: I want to know more about the subject and I want the subject to be known more. As well I want to open the eyes of people and let them see that an issue as important as education is so undervalued in some countries such as ours for example. I will compare some school systems around the world and see which one is where students get better qualifications, better quality of life and where the education is more valorated and how they invest in it.
